It will be the policy of Voice4ability to provide a grievance procedure to program individual. The Grievance Procedure will describe the actions that can be taken when seeking redress of agency policies and procedures, or when a feels that any agency staff member has violated his/her rights or has failed to meet the obligation of the services support contract. All individuals will sign the Grievance Procedure upon admission to the program indicating that it has been explained to them.
The Grievance Procedure will be reviewed with the individual at least annually, usually at the time of the annual review meeting, or when it is updated.
All information and records related to the processing of grievances will be confidential. Staff will be expected to assist the individual in filing a grievance, as needed. Voice4ability is committed to a fair and timely review of grievances.
